We are participating in the Vocational Skills Block at Educa
Nine vocational institutions, Skills Finland, and OAJ’s vocational teachers will be present at the Vocational Skills Block in Educa. The block features its own Osaava stage, where visitors can learn about success stories in vocational education and training.

Toivo and Inka Continued from Vocational School to Higher Education: "In Practical Work, I’m Ahead of Others"
A vocational qualification provides an opportunity to continue studies at a higher level. Practical Nurse Inka Myyryläinen and Laboratory Technician Toivo Särkkinen have both completed a vocational qualification and directly pursued higher education at a university of applied sciences. Both have also excelled in skills competitions.

Finland returns to the podium at the World's largest vocational skills competition
The WorldSkills Competition concluded today, Sunday, with an awards ceremony. Toivo Särkkinen from Finland won a silver medal in the skill of Chemical Laboratory Technology. Eleven other Finnish competitors were recognised for their performances with Medallions for Excellence.
