Call for applications: Expert search for WorldSkills Shanghai 2026

The next WorldSkills competition will be held in Shanghai, China, from September 22-27, 2026. Skills Finland, together with its partners, will assemble Team Finland consisting of Competitors and Experts for the competition.

An expert serves as a specialist and judge in their field (skill) during the competition. Additionally, they are an essential part of the Finnish training circle and the competitor's support team. As part of Team Finland, the Expert has a fantastic opportunity to develop professionally and network with other top professionals in their field. For the sponsoring organisation, sending an Expert to international competition is an excellent way to gain professional insights from the world's best, benefiting the entire organisation.

The expert application period lasts until Monday, March 31, 2025. Experts will be selected during April, after which the competitor application period (from May 1 to September 30, 2025) will begin for the skills to which experts have been appointed.
