Teija Ripattila serves as the Chief Training Manager at Skills Finland and acts as Finland’s Official Delegate at EuroSkills competitions. She has also frequently served as the Team Leader of Team Finland in WorldSkills competitions. Ripattila brings 25 years of experience in vocational education and 13 years in skills competitions.

Since 2011, Ripattila has held various roles at different levels within the Taitaja, EuroSkills, WorldSkills, and Abilympics competitions, where she has been instrumental in promoting vocational education and training young competitors to achieve top performances. Additionally, she served on the Board of WorldSkills Europe from 2014 to 2023, with her last two years as Chair of the Board.

“As the Chief Training Manager at Skills Finland, I lead a network of over 100 professionals who train Finland’s national team for international skills competitions. Furthermore, I have had the opportunity to work directly with young people as the Team Leader in WorldSkills competitions. My experiences have provided me with extensive knowledge of how WorldSkills operates on both national and global levels. They have also sharpened my ability to manage complex projects, lead teams, and develop strategies that align with the organisation's goals”, she continues.
